Corrective Movement: Building, Steadfastness and Resistance  by Dr. Khalaf Al-Miftah

of the glorious Corrective Movement, the Arab Cultural Center in Damascus (Abu Rummana) held an intellectual political seminar entitled “Corrective Movement: Building, Steadfastness, and Resistance,” by Dr. Khalaf Al-Miftah, a member of the national leadership of the Baath Arab Socialist Party and head of the Office of Preparation, Culture, and Information.

Dr. Khalaf said that the Corrective Movement came from within the Baath Party, which came to power through the “eighth of March” Revolution, with an integrated project politically, economically and socially.

Dr. Khalaf stressed that the constants of President Bashar al-Assad’s approach reflect the philosophy and ideology of the Baath, because the Syrian policy constants are the army with its faith, the nation, the resistance, the independent decision, and the Friends-reliance system that formed a force to confront terrorism politically, militarily and intellectually.

Finally, Dr. Khalaf stressed that the legendary steadfastness is the result of the institutions built by this glorious movement. they managed to hold up in the face of this global war through determination and steadfastness.The seminar was attended by Mr. Tawfiq Al-Imam, Deputy Minister of Culture and a number of party members and those interested in political affairs.
